FAQ

Field Day Books & Bottles carries new and used books across all genres for folks of all ages, but we specialize in books that encourage folks to have experiences. On our shelves you’ll find contemporary and classic fiction, cookbooks, foraging and outdoor guides, zines, and more, shelved side-by-side with stationery and gift items.

Field Day Books & Bottles carries a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Check out our “what’s in the fridge?” list for the most up-to-date catalogue of what we have on-hand.

Absolutely! Field Day is open to folks of all ages.

Unless your companion is a service animal on the job, we have to ask that they wait at home or outside. We’re sorry — we wish our animal buds could hang out with us here, too.

Yes! On Wednesdays and Thursdays we are happy to take no more than one box of books per person per day. With few exceptions, we generally only accept gently-used copies. We are most interested in fiction, queer content, cookbooks, tabletop roleplaying games, and outdoor guides. Field Day generally offers 20-30% of our price in store credit.
Please note: Field Day is not interested in books by or about fascists, eugenicists, racists, transphobes, or assholes in general. Yes, even if they were important to you as a child. Please leave those books at home. Thank you.

Maybe! Please note that at this time, Field Day Books & Bottles does not do consignment. If you offer wholesale pricing and consider your work to fall under the umbrella of the genres we’re interested in, please email hello@fielddaybb.com. If we think your work would be a good fit for the shop, we’ll reach back out as soon as we can.

Yeah, we think the shop’s pretty cute, too.
Please email hello@fielddaybb.com if you are interested in hosting a workshop, signing, or another event here.
If you are looking to make Field Day your book club or TTRPG crew’s new spot, email us or give us a call ahead of time so we can chat about how to potentially make the space work for your group.
Please note that our regular events take precedence over proposed workshops and new-to-us gatherings. We are a small space with just two people running the show, and only so many folks can fit in here safely.

Our online shop is currently under construction. In the meantime, you can snag new copies of pretty much anything from our Bookshop. If you prefer to listen to your books, head on over to our libro.fm shop! And of course please feel free to give us a call or shoot us an email if you’re looking for a book you think we might have in stock at the shop — we’re happy to set things aside or ship them.

Hell yeah, we love that! Fill out this form, or ask about whatever you’re looking for next time you’re at the shop.

Field Day Books & Bottles is an inclusive community space as much as it is a bookstore and bottle shop. To that end we require masks be worn on Wednesdays, and we reserve the right to remove anyone from the shop at any time who is making others unsafe. We will not debate you. Fascists fuck off.
